It's the second graph that is important, folks - as with the film industry (although for different reasons) total revenue is up, it's just... not going to the same (old) people so much, which is why they're all so yippity... yadda yadda situation in a nutshell. I know stats are stats (even though these are from the BPI apparently ;) and I'm ... Skatīt vairāk...preaching to the converted, but it's good to see the effect the last five or so years have had - so be happy, don't change but **support your scene** - if you don't buy CDs, go to gigs, go to clubs, run a blog, host parties, share some tunes, get intoxicated and dance (or at the very least lean ironically against the wall and smile occasionally). It's worth it. You knows it.

Ah shame. BBC aren't that bad though... "Always Like This" is one of the better singles of the year. You're right about the jeans though...
